Agricultural Engineer from Universidad de Cundinamarca and M.Sc. in Rural Development from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. She has served as a Senior Master Researcher at AGROSAVIA and has more than 20 years of experience in research, innovation, and technological development, with a particular focus on Integrated Pest Management and biological control. Throughout her career, she has led research, development, validation, and registration processes for bioproducts. Her professional trajectory has been distinguished by leading projects that strengthen the sustainability, safety, and competitiveness of the agricultural sector through transdisciplinary approaches and collaboration among stakeholders and territories. For four years, she served as Innovation Manager for AGROSAVIA's Vegetables and Aromatic Plants Network, leading the development of the national research agenda for vegetable crops, Aloe vera, medicinal and culinary plants, and related species. She also promoted the formulation of large-scale R&D&I projects and strengthened collaboration among researchers, institutions, and producers. Most recently, she served as Regional Innovation Coordinator at the Tibaitatá Research and Technology Transfer Center. She currently serves as Acting Director of the Center, leading strategies for knowledge generation, technological development, and innovation in coordination with other stakeholders across the Science, Technology, and Innovation ecosystem and the productive sector, with the goal of delivering solutions that enhance competitiveness, productivity, and the sustainable development of the territories.
