AGROSAVIA brings science closer to the field at AGROEXPO 2025

Bogotá, Capital District. July 9, 2025. As part of the country's largest agricultural fair, AGROEXPO 2025, the Colombian Corporation for Agricultural Research – AGROSAVIA – arrives with a clear goal: to make scientific and technological knowledge more approachable, useful, and accessible to all producers across the country, regardless of their size.

From today until July 20 at Corferias (Bogotá), visitors will be able to explore firsthand the portfolio of products, technologies, and services that AGROSAVIA offers for various agricultural systems. The objective is simple yet powerful: to provide practical and affordable solutions to the challenges that Colombian farmers and ranchers face every day.

This year, AGROEXPO 2025 brings together more than 600 exhibitors, 3,000 live animals, 23 pavilions, and over 1,400 activities. This edition is a tribute to the tireless work of rural Colombia, which feeds, connects, and transforms the entire country.

AGROSAVIA’s highlights at the fair:

Presentation of TRIESTIMUL – July 17 at 9:00 a.m.

A biostimulant developed to strengthen potato crops, contributing to productivity with sustainable solutions tailored to our conditions.

Forum on Innovation and Sustainability – July 17 at 10:15 a.m.

Rodrigo Martines, AGROSAVIA’s Director of Research and Development, will participate in the forum organized by La República and Agronegocios, titled Innovation, Sustainability, and Growth: The Path of Colombian Agriculture. He will be part of the first panel, focused on technologies for agro-industry, productive efficiency, and access to financing.

Here, attendees can explore research advances, projects such as the National Seed Plan, and learn how the Nation's Germplasm Banks operate and are managed. The booth will also serve as a sales point for inputs developed through biotechnology using Colombia's rich biological resources.
