Description
The AGROSAVIA-AURORA sweet potato variety has a dark orange pulp color and high-quality characteristics, with an average dry matter content of 26.5%, ash content higher than 4%, 8% protein, an adequate level of fiber and an excellent content of total carotenes and beta-carotenes (246 and 214 ug/g, respectively), guaranteeing the production of flour of high nutritional quality.
The average yield of this variety is 20 tons per hectare, and more than 45% of the production corresponds to first-class roots that may be suitable for international or national fresh markets.
Its use is recommended for the departments of Córdoba, Magdalena, Bolívar, and La Guajira.
