ICA Resolution 2282 of 2014

- Thematic area:
- Integrated management of the production system
- Productive system:
- Cotton
- Geographic coverage:
-
Dry Caribbean and inter-Andean valleys regions

Description
Liquid biofertilizer based on the co-inoculation of nitrogen-fixing bacteria strains (Azotobacter chroococcum AC1 and AC10), capable of promoting the growth of cotton (Gossypium hirsitum) under reduced nitrogen fertilization conditions. The mixture of these microorganisms facilitates the availability of atmospheric nitrogen for the plant and promotes plant development by producing phytohormones.
The use of this bioproduct allows reducing costs: social, due to the reduction of contamination risks to the personnel who make the applications as it is a harmless product; economic, due to the reduction of production costs in the nitrogen fertilization sector; and environmental, due to its sustainability.
In cotton crops, the production of cotton lint increases by 3 to 10%, in addition to the reduction of up to 50% of the application of nitrogen fertilizers without affecting the quality of the lint and its yield.
Recommended for use in the departments of Atlántico, Cesar, Bolívar, La Guajira, and Tolima.
Dosage and frequency of application:
For seed inoculation, 500 milligrams of seed are used for one hectare.
Re-inoculations are carried out with synthetic nitrogen fertilization; in each one, a dose of one (1) liter per hectare with 50 liters of water per hectare must be used. Do not leave the inoculant or the inoculated seed under direct sunlight. The treated seed must not be stored for more than 24 hours.
Presentation
Two (2) liter bottle.
