Description

This application allows for the sizing of each component of the Cimpa-type panela burner according to the conditions of the production system established by the user, who must provide basic data on the crop and operating conditions of the burner. HornillApp is a tool that can be employed by users with little or no knowledge of the calculation and design of panela burners.

The technology delivers a personalized report containing semi-detailed plans for all the burner's components, a pre-design of the burner, and commercial alternatives for the mill and motor according to the capacity established following the initial data provided by the producer.

Additionally, the software provides recommendations for the construction, management, maintenance, hygiene, and disinfection of the mill (trapiche), following current regulations regarding the safety and quality of the product. Moreover, also a detailed list of materials, with an estimate of their cost and the projection of the total construction value of the expected cash flow and time required for the recovery of the investment when producing panela with the proposed technological solution with and without a heat recovery unit. These technical-economic data allow the producer to make a preliminary assessment of the feasibility of implementing the suggested design.
