Description
Biopesticide for the control of pathogenic fungi of lettuce, tomato, and ornamental plants such as roses, formulated as dispersible granules (WG) based on the fungus Trichoderma koningiopsis Th003, with a concentration of 1x109 conidia/g. Its main attribute is to be an efficient alternative to implement integrated crop management strategies, contributing to effective and sustainable management.
Additionally, the Th003 strain can promote plant growth, stimulating the development of roots and the aerial part of the plants. It produces enzymes such as cellulases, glucanases, and chitinases, which are related to the degradation of the cell wall of phytopathogenic fungi during mycoparasitism processes. Th003 has endophytic capacity, i.e., it can colonize and live in plant tissues without causing harm, establish a symbiotic relationship of mutual benefit, induce defense responses in the plant, or promote plant growth.
Among the benefits of using this product are: Broad spectrum of action against phytopathogens in tomato, lettuce, and ornamental crops. It has an efficiency of 31 to 60%, useful life of 19 months under refrigeration conditions, toxicology category IV (slightly toxic), plant growth promotion, suitable for foliar and soil application, increases plant resistance to other pathogens (induced systemic resistance - ISR), and compatible in rotation with quickly disintegrating chemically synthesized insecticides and fungicides upon tank mix. TRICOTEC® wettens and suspends rapidly and homogeneously.
TRICOTEC® WG has a record of use for tomato cultivation from the seedbed phase to the field for the control of Fusarium oxysporum (causing vascular wilt) and Rhizoctonia solani (causing damping-off in seedlings in the seedbed and greenhouse and stem canker) in tomato cultivation; as well as for the cultivation of lettuce in the control of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Sclerotinia minor (causing white mold). Additionally, it has a record of use for controlling Botrytis cinerea (gray mold) in ornamental crops such as roses.
Crop | Biological target | Dose (g/ha) | Application recommendations |
---|---|---|---|
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)) | Damping-off (Rhizoctonia solani) | 500 - 800 g/ha | NURSERY (SEEDBED): Drench application at sowing time, 7 and 21 days after sowing.. |
Damping-off and vascular wilt (Fusarium oxysporum) | 500 - 800 g/ha | FIELD: drench application during transplant, 7 and 21 days after transplant, directing the application to the base of the plant. | |
Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) | White mold (Sclerotinia minor, S. sclerotiorum) | Drench: 500 - 600 g/ha Foliar: 400 g/ha | NURSERY (SEEDBED): Drench application at sowing time, 7 and 21 days after sowing. FIELD: Drench application during transplant, 7 and 21 days after transplant, directing the application to the base of the plant. Foliar application at 28 and 42 days after transplant. |
Roses and ornamentals | Gray mold (Botrytis cinerea) | Drench: 500 - 1000 g/ha Foliar: 500 g/ha | Foliar application every 7 days. Monthly application in the drench. |
