Description
AGROSAVIA Tropical is a sweet pepper variety, topito type, adapted to the warm climate conditions prevailing in the Caribbean region of Colombia. This variety expresses average yields of 31 tons per hectare. The quality of the fruit in terms of shape is triangular, with a weight of 6.8 grams, dimensions in length of 6.3 cm, and basal width of 2.7 cm, characteristics that allow compliance with the regional market standards for fresh consumption.
Likewise, the uniformity in the architecture of the plants gives it advantages in crop management, such as reduced tutoring, pruning, and product application, compared to traditional materials, which, due to the diverse architecture of the plants, make these daily tasks difficult.
This product is relevant in culinary preparations, especially for the region, due to the homemade way it is prepared as a spice.
