Plant Production
The network's main objective is to conserve, breed and propagate sexual and asexual seeds to provide plant material with phytosanitary quality for researchers and farmers in the country.

This network of laboratories has the technical capacity to carry out processes of selection, indexing, introduction, multiplication, in vitro rooting, and hardening of plant material through organogenesis or embryogenesis (direct or indirect). In addition, it massively produces seedlings of agricultural interest, with phytosanitary quality and genetic homogeneity, develops cultivars bred by biotechnological techniques, cleans and sanitizes plant material, and conserves agrobiodiversity present in the nation's plant genetic resources. The network's main objective is to conserve, breed and propagate sexual and asexual seeds to provide plant material with phytosanitary quality for researchers and farmers in the country.
The Plant Germplasm Bank under the in vitro and seeds subsystem is included in this Network, whose accessions that are of interest for research can be requested via email: recursosbiologicos@agrosavia.co
The Network of Plant Production Laboratories has five laboratories located in different research centers.
