Description
DieTro® is a free-to-access software that works with an Internet connection and allows balancing dairy cattle rations, calculating nutritional requirements based on farm animal model information, and defining production costs. It can also select or include the resources available from the AlimenTro® platform, generating information to optimize the feeding system.
Its main objective is to have a preliminary optimization model for the efficient formulation of rations for bovines to achieve a correct balance of nutrients based on food resource availability and nutritional quality.
The municipalities in which this technology has been evaluated belong to the departments of Antioquia, Boyacá, Cundinamarca, and Nariño.
