Description
In the analysis of raw bovine milk, the compositional quality is determined in terms of total solids, fat, and protein; and the hygienic quality due to its microbiological content.
The AGROSAVIA laboratory is the only reference in the country for milk payment per quality and has accreditation in the international standard ISO/IEC 17025. In addition, it works in the southern part of the country through the Nariño laboratory at CI Obonuco.
In the Payment for Quality modality, this analysis allows the producer to receive payment for his milk according to its quality, as described in Resolution 017 of 2012.
The Dairy Control modality allows for evaluating situations of individual productivity and mastitis in the herd.
This service is provided by the livestock microbiology and animal health laboratory.
