Description

This seminal genetic material has genomic analyses that allow the producer to know the favorable gene variants of productive interest that can be transmitted to the offspring. AGROSAVIA's animal reproduction laboratory has an ICA certification to process seminal material and embryos in production animals.

The genetic material of AGROSAVIA's creole breeds shows a positive combinatorial ability in crossing with zebu breeds, whose heterosis indicators for growth traits range between 10 and 15 % and 15 % for reproductive traits. In addition, all animals identified for the collection of genetic material have a health evaluation and are free of officially controlled diseases and others of high productive impact.

The production of genetic material is also available through seminal material processing from the producer's livestock (with external collection).

The genetic material of the BON, Romosinuano, Costeño Con Cuernos, Hartón del Valle, San Martinero, and other breeds (subject to availability) has been selected for its high genetic merit for strategic use in bovine livestock systems and evaluated through productive monitoring from birth to an adult reproductive age through unique performance tests in the country.
