Bogotá, Capital District. August 25, 2026. Corporación colombiana de investigación agropecuria (AGROSAVIA) and the Colombian Association of Seeds and Biotechnology (Acosemillas) join forces to present the 2026 Conference Series: "Dialogues that Germinate and Seeds with Knowledge." This seed-focused initiative is designed as a strategic meeting point for professionals, researchers, extension agents, and agricultural producers seeking to update their knowledge and strengthen the agricultural sector's competitiveness.

The conference series aims to consolidate ongoing technical knowledge-sharing spaces and strengthen networking among the different stakeholders of the National Seed System. Through this joint effort, both organizations seek to highlight the remarkable and essential role of seeds in rural communities and the region's commercial value chains.

 

Thematic Agenda and Conference Series Structure

The academic program will be structured around a monthly schedule of virtual talks lasting one hour and fifteen minutes, including an interactive question-and-answer session. The content will be organized into the following key areas:

• Innovation and Quality: Cutting-edge technological solutions aimed at achieving production excellence.
• Regulations and Production: Analysis of current regulatory frameworks and the implementation of sustainable practices in the field.
• Markets and Opportunities: Effective marketing strategies, productive linkages, and access to new global markets (such as the Colombian Soybean for the World market and its expansion into China).
• Extension and Knowledge Transfer: A space dedicated to shared experiences involving seeds, association-building, cooperativism, and coexistence, approached from multidisciplinary perspectives based on mutual respect.

 

Technical Connection and Access

To ensure nationwide and equitable access for all stakeholders in the sector, the conferences will be promoted and broadcast virtually through Linkata, the community and network of agricultural extension professionals managed by AGROSAVIA.

The organizing entities extend a special invitation to agricultural engineers, veterinarians, animal scientists, researchers, leaders of producer associations, and other professionals within the agricultural ecosystem to stay tuned for the release of individual registration links for each session.
